The Ecstasy of attention
Little things keep happening to us, in which we are not the active agents but just people observing, listening, feeling. The lack of our participation in it should not obliterate those things into non-entity, isn’t it? Most of life will be about these ordinary moments of attention and human connection. Big things don’t happen everyday nor do their causes or consequences exhaust themselves on the day of their occurring. Most of life to put it simply is spent in meaning making and reading the world with our eyes and our very hearts.
